Thesis Qin Shi Huang lived from 259 BC to 210 BC. He was the king of a Chinese state, known as the State of Qin, from 246 BC to 221 BC until he unified all of China and became its first emperor.
Qin Shi Huang is a central figure in Chinese history. He began almost two millennia of dynastic rule. After unifying China, he began a series of economic and political reforms that would rival his predecessors. He started many major projects, such as the building of parts of the Great Wall, a national road system, and his own Terracotta Army. |
